Good to know
Do my clients need an account?
No. Anyone with the link can listen and leave notes, with their name or anonymously. Only you need an account.
Is the audio compressed?
No. Listeners stream the file you uploaded, so they hear the same mix you bounced, WAV, AIFF and FLAC included.
Can clients download my mixes?
Only when you allow it. Downloads are off by default; turn them on per track, and folders can then be downloaded as one zip.
Which formats can I upload?
WAV, AIFF, FLAC, MP3, M4A, AAC, OGG and Opus. Listeners hear the file exactly as you uploaded it.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. Links open in any mobile browser, and listening, scrubbing and leaving notes work the same as on a computer.
Where are my files kept?
On the free plan, in your own Dropbox: your files never leave it, and we keep only your share links, notes and track info. Pro keeps them in finalmix.io storage, with 1 TB of room.
